Celebration of Life Ceremonies in Scotland
A personal, thoughtful way to reflect, remember and honour a life
Saying goodbye to someone we love is never easy. A ceremony can offer a moment to pause, to reflect, and to honour a life in a way that feels personal and meaningful.
There’s no single way to do this, Each ceremony is shaped around the person, their beliefs and values, their story, and the people who knew and loved them.
What a celebration of life ceremony can include
Every ceremony is different, but it might include:
- Stories and memories shared by family and friends
- Music that feels connected to the person being remembered
- Non religious readings, poems or personal reflections
- Quiet moments to pause and reflect
- A simple structure that gently holds everything together
- Religious elements like hymns, prayers and bible readings
There’s no expectation for it to follow a particular format. It can be simple or as detyailed as you need it to be.
A calm, supportive approach
With extensive experience in the funeral profession, I understand the importance of remembering loved ones in a meaningful and personal way.
My role is to guide things gently and create a ceremony that feels respectful, personal and considered.
I take time to listen, to understand the person we’re remembering, and to shape somethingf that reflects them honestly. There’s no pressure to make it anything other than what feels right for you.
Taking the time to get it right
I know this can feel like a difficult time to make decisions. I’ll always approach things with care, patience and understanding, giving you the space to talk things through and shape the ceremony in your own way.
If you'd like to talk things through
If you’re planning a celebration of lifev ceremony and would like some guidance or support, you’re very welcome to get in touch. We can simply have a conversation and take it from there.
